Hilton Heathrow T4

Airwave install 55-inch LG UR762H hospitality displays in the Hilton Heathrow T4's 398 guestrooms.

The Hotel

The Hilton London Heathrow Airport (HLHA) features 398 rooms, set across a five-storey glass-cubed building.

Connected to Heathrow’s Terminal 4 by a covered walkway, HLHA provides an ultra-convenient airport experience for its guests.

3 restaurants, a pool, spa, gym and 30 meeting rooms mingle with sound-proofed, modern guestrooms, all boasting brand new TV hardware, supplied and installed by Airwave.

The Technology

With plenty of gas left in the TV system’s tank, HLHA were looking for a TV hardware upgrade only.

Having de-installed the existing estate of 42-inch hospitality TVs, Airwave recommended LG’s UR762H Series hospitality displays, installing 55-inch UHD screens in each of the guestrooms.

Initially intended to sit on the guestroom’s desk, an innocuous suggestion by Airwave’s head of projects – “why don’t you look at reducing the TV’s footprint, by wall-mounting the screens?”- was grabbed with both hands by the hotel’s management team.

HLHA’s new TVs, now sit resplendently on the guestroom wall, freeing up desk space and providing a tidy, low footprint aesthetic in the hotel’s modern bedrooms.

Often the simplest ideas work best, and I'm delighted to have left a bit of a legacy on the guestroom walls at Hilton T4!
